We are seeking a highly motived, technically inclined and solutions-oriented individual to help support the development of our pipeline. Reporting to the Vice President of IT, you will foster a strong strategic relationship between our business partners and IT. This position based in Watertown, MA, with occasion travel to our Northbridge, MA site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong IT acumen, collaborative in nature, strategic at the core, innovative and always looking to find that better way to do things.  They will be instrumental in working with their business partners to help deliver solutions that drive efficiency while never settling for what just works, but what is best for the company while identifying risks and needs of the business.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivery of all things IT in support of our Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality and Product Development.  We are seeing an individual with an established record of contributions in these areas that will drive strategic as well as tactical discussion up and down the organization.  Partnering with our Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality and Product Development organizations to develop and nurture a roadmap that will scale as we advance our exciting pipeline.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Individual responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for our Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality and Product Development teams and help establish a strategy, manage a roadmap, and drive the delivery of new capabilities in this arena.
  • Responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and transforms that vision through execution into the solution.
  • Actively participate as a member of the IT leadership team that will help establish standards, governance, and demand planning, while ensuring alignment with the corporate objectives.
  • Partner with the Vice President, IT to help establish and ensure all implementations are according to best practice and align with the core enterprise architecture.
  • Ensure the appropriate regulatory and compliance regulations are met and accounted for (GxP, SOX, GDPR, etc).
  • Maintain compliance, confidentiality, and data integrity.
  • Must have the ability to work with multiple computing platforms, including hardware and software.
  • Managing all aspects of solution delivery, such as testing, documentation, qualification, etc.
  • Help with creating innovative IT strategies to ensure cost optimization, establish process efficiency and guide towards scalable best practices.
  • Implement global standards in IT Quality and adhere to the highest level of GMP standards while partnering with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Experience in FDA-regulated environment and associated GxP controls for software development.
  • Demonstrable familiarity with IT systems for ERP, Manufacturing and Supply Chain and Quality Management areas is a must.
  • Ability to lead a team is a must.
  • Project Management or Six Sigma certification is a plus

Level of Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related fields.

Number of Years of Experience in the Function and in the Industry:

•8-10 years
