The Co-op will report directly to the Director, Controller, and will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable and other accounting operations activities. This position is located at our Watertown, MA site and will begin on Monday, January 5th and end on Friday, June 26th.

 

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Individual Responsibilities

  1. Accounts Payable (AP):
    1. Assist in processing invoices and reconciling accounts as part of procure-to-pay standardization efforts.
    2. Support post-implementation activities for the ZIP system, including troubleshooting, streamlining workflows, and documenting processes.
  2. Accounting Operations:
    1. Assist in preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accounts at month-end
    2. Assist in preparing journal entries as needed
    3. Support other projects as needed
  3. SEC Reporting:
      1. Work with the team for required quarterly and/or annual filings as needed

Qualifications

Level of Education Required:

  • Must be a student in a Bachelor’s degree/Masters at an accredited college/university
  • Undergraduate student with a minimum of Rising Junior status.

 

Preferred Field(s) of Study:

  • Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
